How we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with this site or submit a business inquiry.
Effective date: May 16, 2026
Cupratec ("Cupratec", "we", "our", "us") is a copper-peptide atelier in Shanghai, China that supplies cosmetic-grade GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu actives. We keep this Site, cupratec.com ("Site"), to talk to a narrow audience of professional buyers — cosmetic and dermatology brand R&D, hair and scalp specialist brands, contract manufacturers, and licensed mesotherapy and aesthetic clinics — and to no one else.
Because that is who we deal with, the information we hold is ordinary business-contact and sourcing-correspondence data, not consumer or patient data. We do not run a storefront, we do not sell to individuals, and nothing about a copper-peptide active requires us to gather sensitive personal information from you. This page explains what we do hold, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This policy is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), and comparable rules in the other markets we ship to.
Where GDPR applies, Cupratec is the data controller for information you submit through this Site. Where PIPL applies, Cupratec is the personal information processor responsible for that data.
We ask for only what an inquiry and a working sourcing relationship actually need.
Given to us by you, in a quote request or correspondence:
Gathered automatically as you browse:
We do not knowingly collect or process special categories of personal data — health, biometric, racial, political, religious, or sexual-orientation data — through this Site.
We put your information to a short list of uses, each of which rests on a lawful basis under GDPR Article 6:
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
A few service providers process your information on our behalf. Each is bound by a written data-processing agreement requiring confidentiality and security at least equal to our own:
We engage no marketing-data brokers, no ad-tech retargeting networks, and no social-media tracking pixels on this Site.
We protect your information with standard, current safeguards:
No system of transmission or storage is ever completely secure. We work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security, and we suggest you use your own safeguards — encrypted email, secure file transfer — when sending us sensitive commercial or regulatory documents.
Because the atelier is in China and several of our processors sit in the United States and elsewhere, your information will travel internationally.
For EU/EEA personal data sent to jurisdictions without an adequacy decision, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with the additional safeguards the Schrems II decision calls for. For UK personal data, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
For personal information of PRC data subjects sent abroad, we rely on the PIPL Article 38 standard contract for cross-border transfer and carry out personal-information-impact assessments where they are required.
For California consumer data, the CCPA does not restrict cross-border transfer but does require disclosure, which this section provides.
Copies of our transfer agreements are available on request to the contact below.
We hold your information only as long as the purposes above, or the law, require:
Once the applicable period ends, we securely delete or irreversibly anonymize the data.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may hold the following rights over your personal information:
To exercise any of these, email info@cupratec.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to use. We respond within 30 calendar days and may first ask you to verify your identity.
Marketing — beyond replying to your inquiry, we send marketing email (sourcing intelligence, regulatory briefings, new-active announcements) only where you have explicitly opted in. Every such email carries a one-click unsubscribe, honored within 5 business days.
Cookies — we use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies; our Cookies Policy lists each one with its duration and how to manage it.
Children — this Site is for qualified business buyers and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors; if you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where the law requires it (GDPR Article 33), and we notify you directly, without undue delay, where the breach is likely to pose a high risk to your rights and freedoms (GDPR Article 34, PIPL Article 57).

For EU/EEA matters you may also contact your local data-protection authority directly.
We may revise this policy as the law or our operations change. We will update the effective date at the top of the page and, for material changes, post a notice on the Site; continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised policy.
