The Atelier
Headquartered in Shanghai, China, Cupratec runs one specialty — copper-bound peptide actives — under a single lot-data discipline. Our buyers are cosmetic and dermatology brand R&D, hair-scalp programmes, contract manufacturers, and licensed mesotherapy clinics in Asia, the EU, and the Americas.
Inside the Atelier
One bench, one chemistry: holding Cu(II) on a peptide ligand reliably enough to ship lot after lot with the same profile. Every commercial lot ships from this atelier, and the lot report you receive comes off these instruments.
Square-planar Cu(II) coordination — the geometry behind the d–d band on every Cupratec lot report.
How we're organised
Cupratec is structured so every buyer-facing decision — pricing, lead time, lot report, regulatory framing — passes through people who own the relevant function. Inquiries land with sales, but QA and R&D review every quote that touches a custom Cu-peptide spec before it goes out.
Function
Owns solid-phase peptide synthesis on cosmetic-grade resins, Cu²⁺ titration under controlled pH, purification with Cu-aware buffers, and lyophilisation cycles tuned to hold the complex through drying. Final sign-off on every pilot and scale-up campaign.
Experience
Experienced in synthetic peptide manufacturing
Background
Solid-phase peptide synthesis with a focus on copper-coordination chemistry, and process-development experience across research-grade peptide and copper-bound-peptide work.
Function
Runs the Cu²⁺ characterisation panel on every lot — ICP-MS / AA for the molar ratio, UV-Vis for the d-d band, CIELab against the in-house master lot, and the 25 / 40 / 60 °C stability series. No lot ships without QA sign-off on the four-line lot report.
Experience
Experienced in analytical QA
Background
Analytical method development for transition-metal coordination chemistry and peptide ingredients; calibration / qualification work on the ICP-MS, HPLC, and UV-Vis instruments under the Cupratec analytical SOP.
Function
Bespoke copper-peptide chemistry — biotinylated and palmitoyl variants of GHK-Cu, brand-spec AHK / GHK blends, Cu-Glutathione for antioxidant programmes, and other coordination targets. Pilot synthesis at gram scale, scale-up at 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg.
Experience
Specialised in copper-coordination peptide chemistry
Background
Deep peptide-chemistry capability with extended focus on transition-metal coordination; takes on bespoke Cu-peptide chemistry that catalogue suppliers will not.
Function
Single contact for cosmetic, dermatology, scalp, and licensed mesotherapy buyers. Reviews each inquiry for fit with the B2B policy before pricing, supports the cosmetic-notification documentation pathway (CPNP and equivalents), and runs the clinic-licence verification gate on the mesotherapy lot line.
Experience
Experienced in cosmetic-active and clinical-aesthetic B2B sales
Background
Cross-border cosmetic-active commercial relationships; familiarity with cosmetic-INCI notification frameworks across the EU, UK, Japan, Korea, and major MENA / APAC / LATAM markets, plus the clinic-licence landscape for mesotherapy practice.
Individual leader identities are disclosed under NDA at the commercial-relationship stage rather than on the public site. Avatars above are monogram-style identifiers, not photographs; they represent the function, not a specific person.
How we work
The manufacturing behind Cupratec has run since 2013 as a peptide-synthesis operation supplying research-grade material to academic and cosmetic R&D groups, and over time that bench concentrated on a single chemistry problem: holding Cu(II) on a peptide ligand reliably enough to ship lot after lot with the same characterisation profile.
Today the atelier ships GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu under that discipline, and a growing list of custom Cu-peptide programmes for brand operators who need a coordination chemistry partner — biotinylated GHK-Cu for affinity studies, palmitoyl variants for oil-phase serums, AHK / GHK blends built to a brand's specification, Cu-Glutathione for antioxidant programmes.
Our positioning is deliberately not the cheapest Cu-peptide source. We invest in the lot-data programme (per-lot UV-Vis, ICP-MS / AA copper quantification, 6-month solution stability across three temperatures, ΔE colour against the in-house master lot) because the brands that need a copper-peptide atelier are the brands that read the data.
The regulatory context Cupratec works in is cosmetic — INCI names, cosmetic-product notification (CPNP in the EU and equivalents elsewhere), and clinic-licence verification on the mesotherapy lot line. The buyer-qualification framework is published at /legal/b2b-only.
Commission a copper-peptide
Biotinylated or palmitoyl GHK-Cu, a brand-spec AHK / GHK blend, Cu-Glutathione for an antioxidant line — send the target and the spec. R&D and QA scope the coordination chemistry before any price goes out.
From the Atelier
First response under 24 hours. We send a 25 mg sample of the active you specify, the lot's UV-Vis spectrum, the Cu²⁺ : peptide ratio measurement, and a feasibility note for the formulation application you have in mind.
